Rotary's flagship program is its effort to protect children against polio, with the goal of ending the disease throughout the world.
The Rotary Club of Beaumaris was chartered in November 1985 by the Rotary Club of Cheltenham. There were 39 charter members, many of whom were members of the fathers activities club of Beaumaris North Primary School. By 1986 there were 59 members. Of the original charter members four are still active members of the club.
The club today has 36 active members and is fully involved in local and international community projects.
The members are a very friendly group who enjoy each others company, involve their families in club activities and provide valuable local and international networking opportunities.
Our club is one of the 52 Rotary Clubs in Rotary International District 9810 (South East Melbourne)
